Patterns. Love them.
I've always been interested in repetition, symmetry, and ornate line work. My aesthetic includes mixing several different patterns as well as mixing textures and materials. I enjoy getting messy, which is why usually add handmade elements to my work even if the work is then finished in a digital way.
I created a series of wallpaper and other textile patterns that are somewhat erotic. I wanted to design patterns that people would think were pretty, and maybe wouldn't even notice that the shapes were all actually sex toys. Maybe they would notice, but oh well.
Not all of the patterns are dirty. Some of them are just pretty or have more innocent concepts like moon phases and butterflies.
The materials and techniques used include everything form wood, cut paper, screen printing, paint, graphic design.
Collage. The art of arrangement.
One of my favorite ways to work is sitting on the floor surrounded by all the things I have cut out and starting to see what I can create. It's funny how images from completely different origins connect and create a story. It is a good outlet for me to get all of my ideas out faster.
Paint. My first love. I could never give it up.
My process begins by creating a very painterly and luscious background. This is the fun part. I get messy and just go with it. I use everything from spray paint, watercolor, wallpaper patterns, graphite, and acrylic. Then I begin to add the female figure to the composition. I always sketch it out first. Then I will add elements of cut out skin tones as collage or ink, or paint to the body. When I am working on a painting I make very deliberate marks. Each brush stroke is thought out before hand.
Some of my favorite painters at the moment include:
Inka Essenhigh, Katie Heck, Chole Early,
Jenny Seville, Kris Lewis, Kelly Allen
All of my paintings are for sale. I am also open to creating custom commissioned paintings for you! Please contact me if you are interested

For this project I helped Kaplan College enhance the learning environment for their staff and students. Kaplan College Centers are located all over the world. When a student decides to attend a particular location, one reason is because they want to be in that particular city. We wanted to bring that inside to them. This showed the students images of the city that they could visit, things to do and also motivate the staff and students with colorful, uplifting images to inspire.
Set design to me... is a mix between interior design and installation art. I love it because I can paint murals, collect antiques and interesting pieces of furniture.
This area of interest can be used in theatre, movies, photoshoots, and even window displays.
Assemblage is a form of sculpture comprised of "found" objects arranged in such a way that they create a piece. These objects can be anything organic or man-made. Scraps of wood, stones, old shoes, and a discarded tire - or any of the other 84,000,000 items not here mentioned by name - all qualify for inclusion in an assemblage. Whatever catches the artist's eye, and fits properly in the composition to make a unified whole, is fair game.
My background in graphic design is pretty well rounded, but I'm always ready to learn more. I have worked for galleries, sign shops, fashion designers, and a package design firm. I am also a responsive web designer and coder.
Graphic design is generally thought of as computer based. For me I prefer to use the computer as a tool, and not as a means to create the entire design. So I like to paint things or even use collage or cut paper and scan things into the computer and work from there.
I am inspired by all sorts of things such as achitechture, nature, art nouveau, polynesian and oceanic art, fashion, time periods
